Historically, during midterm elections, the president's party loses seats in Congress. Conventional wisdom isn't any different this election season. Below are 33 House races and Democratic candidates that They See Blue® is supporting through get-out-the-vote efforts, advertising and other means. Please consider donating to these candidates.

Arizona-01
Jevin Hodge
Head of nonprofit organization
Hodge, who is an education advocate and former vice chairman of the Arizona Democratic Party, beat out Adam Metzendorf in the Aug. 2 primary, capturing 61 percent of the vote. Hodge will face five-term Congressman David Schweikert in the Nov. 8 general election.

Rep. Greg Stanton
U.S. House Member, Arizona-District 9
Two-term Congressman Stanton, a former mayor of Phoenix, was unopposed in the Aug. 2 primary. He will face Republican Kelly Cooper in the Nov. 8 general election.

California-09
Rep. Josh Harder
U.S. House Member, California-District 10
Harder, who is vying for this third term in the House, finished atop the state's June 7 top-two primary system in which voters cast ballots for the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation. He got about 38 percent of the vote and will face Republican Tom Patti, who received about 29 percent of the vote.

Rep. Adam Gray
Member, California State Assembly
Gray, who has served as a state assemblyman for a decade, finished second in the state's June 7 top-two primary system in which voters cast ballots for the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation. He got 31 percent of the vote and will face Republican John Duarte, who received 34 percent of the vote.

Rep. Rudy Salas
Member, California State Assembly
Salas, who has served as a state assemblyman since 2012, handily won the state's June 7 top-two primary system in which voters cast ballots for the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation. He got about 45 percent of the vote and will face Republican U.S. Rep. David Valadao (CA-21), who received about 26 percent of the vote.

Christy Smith
Former Member, California State Assembly
Smith, who founded a nonprofit education foundation, finished second in the state's June 7 top-two primary system in which voters cast ballots for the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation. She got 35 percent of the vote and will face top vote-getter, Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Garcia (CA-25), who received nearly 50 percent of the vote.

Will Rollins
Former Federal Prosecutor
Rollins, who worked for the U.S. Department of Justice, finished second in the state's June 7 top-two primary system in which voters cast ballots for the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation. He got 30 percent of the vote and will face Republican incumbent Rep. Ken Calvert (CA-42), who received 48 percent of the vote.

Jay Chen
Small Business Owner
Chen, a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves and Mt. San Antonio Community College trustee, is challenging first-term, GOP Rep. Michelle Steel (CA-48) in the Nov. 8 general election. He finished first with 46 percent of the vote in the state's June 7 top-two primary system in which voters cast ballots for the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation. Steel got nearly 44 percent.

Rep. Katie Porter
U.S. House Member, California-District 45
Two-term congresswoman Porter easily topped the state's June 7 top-two primary system in which voters cast ballots for the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation. In a field of Republicans, she captured 51 percent with Republican Scott Baugh getting second place with nearly 31 percent of the vote. They will face off on Nov. 8.

Rep. Mike Levin
U.S. House Member, California-District 49
Levin, who's finishing up his second term in teh House, easily finished first in the state's June 7 top-two primary system in which voters cast ballots for the top two candidates regardless of party affiliation. He got 49 percent of the vote and will face Republican Brian Maryott, who received 19 percent of the vote.

Colorado-08
Rep. Yadira Caraveo
Member, Colorado House of Representatives
Caraveo, a physician who has also been a state House representative since 2019, was unopposed in the June 28 primary. She will face Republican Barbara Kirkmeyer as well as Libertarian Richard Ward and Independents Steve Zorn and Tim Long.

Illinois-17
Eric Sorensen
Meteorologist
Emerging from a crowded June 28 primary, Sorensen, who won 38 percent of the vote, is making his first run for office. In the Nov. 8 general election, he will face off with Republican Esther Joy King.

Maryland-06
Rep. David Trone
U.S. House Member, Maryland-District 6
Two-term Congressman David Trone handily won the July 19 primary with 80 percent of the vote. Second-place finisher Ben Smilowitz had 15 percent. He will go on to the Nov. 8 general election against Republican Neil Parrott and Independent David August.

Michigan-03
Hillary Scholten
Former U.S. Department of Justice Attorney
Scholten, who was an attorney in the Department of Justice during the Obama administration, was unopposed in the Aug. 3 primary. She will face Republican John Gibbs — who defeated incumbent Republican Rep. Peter Meijer in their primary — Libertarian Jamie Lewis and Louis Palus of the Working Class Party.

Michigan-07
Rep. Elissa Slotkin
U.S. House Member, Michigan-District 8
Slotkin, who's vying for her third term in Congress, ran unopposed in the Aug. 2 primary. She will face Republican Tom Barrett and Libertarian Leah Dailey in the Nov. 8 general election.

Michigan-08
Rep. Dan Kildee
U.S. House Member, Michigan-District 5
A decade in the House, Kildee faced no opposition in the Aug. 2 primary, but has attracted several challenges in the Nov. 8 election, including: Republican Paul Junge, Libertarian David Canny and Working Class Party's Kathy Goodwin.

Michigan-10
Carl Marlinga
Former Judge, 16th Judicial Circuit Court and Probate Court.
Marlinga, who was a judge, assistant U.S. attorney and county prosecutor, advanced from the Aug. 2 primary with 48.5 percent of the vote. In his first time running for Congress, Marlinga will face several opponents in the Nov. 8 general election, including: GOP's John James, Libertarian Mike Saliba and Working Class Party's Andrea Kirby.

North Carolina-01
Don Davis
Member, North Carolina State Senate
A state Senator for a decade, Davis, who is a former U.S. Air Force officer, won the May 17 primary with 63.5 percent of the vote. On Nov. 8, he will face Republican Sandy Smith and Independent Eshan Patel.

North Carolina-13
Wiley Nickel
Member, North Carolina State Senate
State Sen. Nickel, who is a criminal defense attorney, captured nearly 53 percent of the vote in the May 17 primary against four opponents. In the Nov. 8 general election, he will face Republican Bo Hines.

New Jersey-07
Rep. Tom Malinowski
U.S. House Member, New Jersey-District 7
A two-term congressman who served in the State Department in the Obama Administration, Malinowski easily won the June 7 primary, facing token opposition. In the Nov. 8 general election, he will again face Thomas Kean Jr., whom Malinowski narrowly defeated in the 2020 election. Veronica Fernandez of the Of, By, For! Party is also on the ballot.

Bridget Fleming
Member, Suffolk County Legislature
Fleming, a legislator in Suffolk County, as well as a former prosecutor and Southampton Town Councilwoman, advanced to the Nov. 8 general election because the primary for the 1st Congressional District was cancelled since there was no opposition. She will face the Conservative Party's Nicholas LaLota. The Republican primary will be held Aug. 23.

Robert Zimmerman
Former 2016 DNC Superdelegate
Former congressional aide and longtime activist, Zimmerman emerged the victor in a crowded Democratic field. He topped the slate with 35.8 percent of the vote, besting Jon Kaiman, Joshua Lafazan, Melanie D'Arrigo and Reema Rasool. Zimmerman will face Republican George Devolder-Santos, People's Party Mekita Coe and D'Arrigo again who's running with the Working Families Party's endorsement.

Pat Ryan
Ulster County Executive
Ryan — who won a special House election Aug. 23 in New York's 19th Congressional District against Republican Marc Molinaro to finish out the term of former Democratic Rep. Antonio Delgado, who is now the state's lieutenant governor — will seek a full term in November as the nominee for New York's 18th Congressional District due to a redistricting twist. He easily cruised in the primary with nearly 84 percent of the vote against Aisha Mills and Moses Mugulusi. Ryan will face Republican Colin Schmitt in the Nov. 8 general election.

Josh Riley
Ex-aide to former Sen. Al Franken
Attorney Riley, who has a long history of working for the federal government and Congress, handily won the Aug. 23 primary against Jamie Cheney. While Pat Ryan won a special election to serve out the rest of former Rep. Antonio Delgado's term, due to redistricting, Ryan will be the nominee for New York's 18th Congressional District. Riley will face Republican Marc Molinaro, who lost the special election to Ryan.

Francis Conole
Former DOD policy adviser
Conole, a Iraq War veteran and adviser to a former Defense secretary, won the Aug. 23 primary with nearly 40 percent of the vote, beating out Sarah Klee Hood who got nearly 36 percent. Sam Hood and Chol Majok finished a distant third and fourth, respectively. Conole will face Republican Brandon Williams, Independence Party's Steven Wells and independents James Desira and Hal Stewart in the Nov. 8 general election.

Susan Wild
U.S. House Member, Pennsylvania-District 7
Two-term Congresswoman Wild ran unchallenged in the May 17 primary. She will face Republican Lisa Scheller in the Nov. 8 general election.

Rep. Matt Cartwright
U.S. House Member, Pennsylvania-District 8
Two-term Congressman Wright ran unchallenged in the May 17 primary. He will face Republican Jim Bognet in the Nov. 8 general election.

Pennsylvania-17
Chris Deluzio
Attorney
Iraq War veteran and attorney Deluzio won the May 17 primary, garnering 63 percent of the vote, against opponent Sean Meloy's 37 percent. Deluzio will face Republican Jeremy Shaffer and Independent Walter Sluzynsky in the Nov. 8 general election.

Rep. Elaine Luria
U.S. House Member, Virginia-District 2
Two-term Congresswoman Luria advanced to the Nov. 8 general election because the primary for the office was cancelled. She will face Republican Jennifer Kiggans.

Virginia-07
Rep. Abigail Spanberger
U.S. House Member, Virginia-District 7
Two-term Congresswoman Spanberger advanced to the Nov. 8 general election because the primary for the office was cancelled. She will face Republican Yesli Vega.
