History

The They See Blue® NC Chapter was established in 2019. Our primary objective is to promote Democratic candidates and democratic values by coordinating with campaigns at every level of government. We support a strong legislature that benefits all North Carolinians, a vibrant and diverse civil society, religious freedom or should we stay - separation of church and state, sensible gun laws, equality for everyone and fostering partnerships between various groups that believe in these values.
 

We believe that cooperation is better than conflict, unity is better than division, empowerment is better than resentment. 
 

Moving America forward comes down to a single battle, and that is creating a path where everyone has an equal shot at success. Our mission is to bring all NC Democrats under ONE umbrella to join forces in the coming elections by empowering grassroots voters, increasing voter registration and turnout on election day. 

Mission

Help elect qualified Democrats regardless of gender, ethnicity or age to the U.S. House and Senate, progressive Democrats in state and municipal elections and run GOTV campaigns to significantly increase Democratic voter turnout. 

We will support a strong legislature that benefits all North Carolinians, a vibrant civil society, religious freedom, sensible gun laws, equality for everyone and fostering partnerships between various groups.

 

Accomplishments

In 2024, with the help of nearly 300+ active volunteers across NC, we participated in various grassroots campaign activities: 

 

• Sent thousands of “register to vote” postcards to encourage South Asian American community in NC.

• Multiple rounds of “text banking” for voter registration

• Phone banking in association with NCDEMS & WAKEDEMS

• Door to Door campaigns, poll greetings, etc.
